My hope trees are still standing

I’m just wondering

How they’re doing

I’m just wandering

Among them and crying

I’m just wondering

Am I enough?

Will I ever be enough?

For myself to grow happy,

Do I need hope water?

Am I enough?

And if they die,

What will I do?

Without my hope trees,

Will I still be me?

And if they die,

Should I plant new ones?

Even if I don’t want to?

I don’t want to forget

My hope trees.
