J’ai utilisé deux photos ; l’une récente et l’autre datant de mes 5 ans. J’ai superposé la deuxième sur la première sans particulièrement modifier quoi que ce soit sauf les tailles et échelles de l’image afin que la superposition soit réussie. Je voulais montrer que mon visage change physiquement mais que toujours, on peut me reconnaître, que mon regard sur le monde et les pensées qui suivent, ont peut-être évolués mais que je reste la personne issue de ce corps et de cette âme que j’avais enfant.

Je suis la personne qui partage les mêmes souvenirs et le même futur que cette enfant que j’étais. Cela peut paraître évident puisque les deux sont moi. Pourtant je change et j’évolue. La personne qui écrit ce texte ne sera plus la même personne qui le lira. Que ce soit parce que j’aurais changé beaucoup ou infiniment peu, je serai différente.

C’est ce que j’ai voulu illustrer par ce selfie métamorphosé de deux moi(s) parmi tant d’autres.

Expicative summary

I used two pictures ; one is recent and the other from when I was five years-old. I overlapped the second one on the first one without any particular modification except for the sides and scales for the result to be good. I wanted to show that my face changes physically but that you can always tell it's me, that the way I look at the world and the thoughts that follow may have evolved but that I am still the same person of this body and soul I had as a child. 

I am the person who shares the same memories and the same future as this child I once was. This may seem obvious, for both are who I am. Though I change and evolve. The person who wrote this text won't be the same as the one who will read it. Whether because I will have changed a lot or infinitely little, I will be different.
